I think that my main focus group of my target audience for
my video will mainly be girls and youth. As I have my chosen artist, Taylor
Swift, is quite popular and has a bigger female fan-base rather than a male due
to the singer’s past work. Furthermore, as she is a mainstream artist that
targets towards the younger generation, I think it would be wise for me to
create a music video that also targets towards youth. Additionally, as my
chosen song is a pop song and the genre of pop is shown to be more popular with
youth than other older people, due to the upbeat rhythms within pop music.
